Established in ROUEN in 1987, TRAMAR Agence de Transit International (ATI) is a middle-sized company, independent contrary to the big groups which currently make up most of our profession.

TRAMAR ATI is a recognized company, being not only member of the TLF (Federation of French Logistic and Transport companies) -national organisation representing FIATA and IATA- but also member of the SRCTT (Rouen’s syndicate of forwarding agents) and member of the UPR (Union of Rouen’s Port) –local syndicate gathering all businesses elated to the shipping world.

2.Why ROUEN ?

PARIS / ROUEN / LE HAVRE constitute a single economical pole where ROUEN -the town and the port- is a central geographical place. With the local forwarding agents, TRAMAR ATI in particular, strongly involved into the logistics network, ROUEN has become the first French port for consolidation containers. We make our consolidation containers, clear them through customs in ROUEN, load them either in ROUEN or LE HAVRE or in any other close port that offers the best service.

A system of fluvial berges between LE HAVRE, ROUEN and PARIS, attracted the main shipping lines (which by the past were not interested in or could not make a stop in ROUEN for economical or technical reasons). Originally exporting exclusively Northbound/Southbound, today ROUEN operates for both exports and imports from/to almost everywhere in the world. To receive in ROUEN goods coming from ASIA, to clear through customs, store and deliver them is very common now.
